EXECUTIVE
The Executive arm is the primary implementer of the law. It is tasked with governing the nation, managing foreign relations, and ensuring the safety and prosperity of all Kenyans through sound policy.
H.E. The President
Head of State and Government: Represents the sovereignty of the Republic.
Commander-in-Chief of KDF: Directs national defense and security.
Chairperson of the Security Council: Oversees the safety of all citizens.
Symbol of National Unity: Promotes social cohesion across all 47 counties.
Legislative Assent: Signs bills from Parliament into law.
H.E. The Deputy President
Principal Assistant: Assists the President in the management of the Executive.
Assigned Mandates: Executes special projects (e.g., Coffee/Tea reforms or Devolution oversight).
Acting Authority: Performs presidential functions during official absence.
Executive Coordination: Liaises between the National and County governments.
The Cabinet (CSs)
Policy Implementation: Translates laws into actionable national projects.
Ministerial Oversight: Manages the 22+ ministries of the Republic.
Accountability to Parliament: Required to provide reports on departmental performance.
Budgetary Management: Oversights the expenditure within their respective portfolios.
The Secretariat
State House remain the administrative epicenter of the Republic. It is where national priorities are drafted into action and where the President symbols the sovereignty of the Kenyan people in the global arena.
