Tukokadi254 is an independent civic information platform at tukokadi254.co.ke. We are not affiliated with IEBC, the Government of Kenya, or any political party. Contact: info@tukokadi254.co.ke
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily contact us by email. Our site does not require registration or login. If you use the AI assistant, queries are processed by a third-party AI provider and are not stored by Tukokadi254.
3. IEBC Verification Portal
The voter verification iframe embeds the official IEBC portal at verify.iebc.or.ke. Any information you enter into that portal goes directly to IEBC's servers. We do not intercept, store, or process that data.
4. Cookies
We use minimal local storage (not tracking cookies) for functional purposes only — such as saving your PWA install preference and navigation state. We do not use advertising cookies. See our Cookies Policy for detail.
5. Third-Party Services
Our platform uses: Google Maps embeds (governed by Google's privacy policy), Cloudflare Workers (for AI assistant), and CartoCDN (for map tiles). These services may collect anonymised usage data per their own policies.
6. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption. We do not store user data on our servers. Our static hosting means there are no databases at risk.
7. Your Rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold. Since we hold none (outside email contact history), there is typically nothing to delete.
