SPORTS &
ATHLETICS
More than just games, sports are the heartbeat of our national pride. From the dusty tracks of Iten to the international rugby circuits, we play to win.
Athletics
Kenya is a global superpower in middle and long-distance running. From Kipchoge Keino to Eliud Kipchoge, our athletes have redefined the limits of human endurance. Iten, the 'Home of Champions', attracts athletes from all over the world to train in our high-altitude highlands.
Rugby Sevens
The 'Shujaa' (Heroes) are known for their explosive speed and strength. National pride peaked in 2016 when Kenya won the Singapore Sevens, defeating Fiji in a historic final. Our fans are also legendary, known as the most vibrant on the global circuit.
Volleyball
The 'Malkia Strikers' (Queen Strikers) are 9-time African Champions. Kenya dominates the continental scene and is a regular participant in the FIVB World Championships and Olympic Games. The team is a symbol of female excellence in Kenyan sports.
Cricket
Kenya's golden era of cricket saw the team reach the semi-finals of the 2003 World Cup, a historic feat for a non-test playing nation at the time. Names like Steve Tikolo and Maurice Odumbe are etched in the halls of cricket history.
Safari Rally
The toughest rally in the world. Re-introduced to the WRC calendar in 2021, the Safari Rally takes drivers through the rugged terrains of Naivasha, testing both man and machine against the African wild.
Golf
The Magical Kenya Open is a premier event on the DP World Tour (European Tour). Staged at historic clubs like Muthaiga and Karen, it showcases Kenya's world-class golfing facilities and lush green courses.

No Human is Limited
"The 1:59 challenge by Eliud Kipchoge was more than a race; it was a global demonstration of the Kenyan philosophy of absolute resilience. We don't just run; we redefine what is possible for the human race."
